Through a food processor, in fact, one can, weigh, blend, chop, mix, slice, grind, mince, mix, pulverize up to cook, even steam, the dishes. Over the next five years, the multifunctional food processor market will register a CAGR of 7.1% in terms of revenue, and the global market size is expected to reach $2,373.6 million by 2025.

In Italy, the market has experienced a boom over the past two years, driven largely by the pandemic, which has had extremely positive effects on the home appliance market. According to the Coop 2020 Report, sales of food processors in June recorded +95% in May and +111% in June ( compared to 2019), an impressive growth. In the food preparation segment in Italy in the period January-September 2020, the most dynamic segments were in fact food processors, mixers and whisks, immersion blenders, products related to "baking" (cakes, desserts, etc..) and the processing of pizza and bread.

The forecasts for the evolution of the market in Italy remain excellent, as Italians have been very satisfied with the purchases made during the pandemic: with food processors, 64 out of 100 Italians explain that they have been able to perfect and improve their culinary skills during 2020. In addition, food processors benefit from the health and RTE food trends, which are among the most popular food trends at the moment. Major players in this market include KitchenAid, Kenwood Limited, Electrolux, Hobart, Breville, Bosch, Philips, Sunbeam Products, Inc, Panasonic, Hamilton Beach, Cuisinart, Sencor, and Vorwerk.
