Multinationals such as Unilever and Procter & Gamble are omnipresent in this market, alongside beauty and cosmetics specialists such as L'Oréal and Nivea.

In Spain, the main shampoo brands used by men are: Head & Shoulders, Pantene Pro V, Garnier Fructis, Sanex, Timotei, Clairol Herbal Essence, etc. note that the most used brands are different for female customers who prefer: Pantene Pro V, L'Oreal Elvive, Garnier Fructis, TRESemmé, Schwarzkopf Gliss and Orginial Remedies. Sales of organic and respectful products are on the rise, especially in the larger cities, while new "Made in Spain" brands are entering the market.
