Reasons for this were restricted opening hours of registry offices due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as restrictions on the number of people allowed at the wedding ceremony. Many couples postponed their weddings as a result. in 2023, Covid-19 restrictions were almost completely lifted in Germany. Therefore, an increase in marriages is expected. Already in February, March and April 2022, up to 72% more weddings were performed compared to the same months in 2021.

Therefore, an increase in sales can be expected in the future. However, wedding planners must adapt to current trends and changes in customer desires.
