1.1 INTRODUZIONE
A aerogeneratore è un dispositivo che trasforma l'energia cinetica del vento in energia meccanica, grazie al movimento di una turbina: è necessario distinguere tra i seguenti elementi energia eolica onshore e energia eolica offshore (in mare). Il mercato della produzione di turbine eoliche comprende quindi i principali produttori coinvolti nella progettazione, costruzione e installazione di turbine eoliche.
Il mercato dell'energia eolica dovrebbe essere moltiplicato per più di 4 entro il 2030 grazie alla forte domanda asiatica, e la capacità installata globale raggiungerà 1.107 gigawatt (GW) nel 2030 rispetto ai 273 GW del 2012. L'obiettivo fissato dal governo francese per il 2020 è fissato a 19.000 MW di capacità installata in energia eolica onshore e 6.000 in mare ( turbina eolica offshore ), ossia una base installata totale di oltre 25.000 MW in Francia.
