Founded in 1991, Pranarôm is a scientific and medical aromatherapy laboratory whose products are sold in nearly 13,000 pharmacies and specialist stores worldwide.
In early 2014, the Pranarôm laboratory joined forces with HerbalGem to found the first Belgian group specializing in natural therapies: Inula Natural Health.
The group has its own bud and medicinal plant cultivation and collection sites in Belgium and Madagascar, 2 specialized production laboratories in Ghislenghien and Vielsalm, and 3 sales subsidiaries in France, Spain and Italy.
In 2018, the Ardian investment fund acquired the Inula group.
The group owns Biofloral in France, which produces artisanal cosmetics based on organic plants, and has also expanded internationally, with exports accounting for the majority of its sales.
