Spain's leading food manufacturer, Ebro Foods is a diversified group, generating 6% of its sales in its home market, 42% in the rest of Europe and 39% in North America.

Ebro Foods has two main activities: rice production, which accounts for almost 51% of sales, and pasta production, which accounts for the remaining 49%.

In France, Ebro Foods owns the Panzani brand, leader in dry pasta (boasting 600 pasta varieties), the Lustucru frais brand, the Celnat brand since 2016 (organic pasta) and, since 2014, a 52% stake in Garofalo, specialized in the premium segment. Through its subsidiaries, Ebro Foods is the market leader in France, controlling 60% of the business by value.

The group's factories are spread across the country: Nanterre (92) and Marseille (13) (Panzani), Lyonnaise region (Lustucru frais), Saint Germain-la-Pradade (Celnat).

Ebro Foods acquired Spanish organic products specialist Vegetalia for €15m in January 2017. In March, Lustucru frais expanded its range of organic fresh pasta, gnocchi and tagliatelle. In June, Panzani launched a pasta range combining wheat, quinoa and corn (Wheat and Cereals range). These moves reflect the Group's determination to seize the opportunities offered by diversification and consumer well-being.
