Marie is a French brand specializing in the production of fresh and frozen ready-made meals. Since it was founded in 1972 by the Olida group, its activity has gradually expanded from frozen to fresh products (in 1989).

The brand has passed from hand to hand (Saint-Louis in 1994, Danone in 1995...) and now belongs to the LDC group, since its purchase from Uniq for 60 million euros.LDC is Europe's leading poultry company, with sales of 3.58 billion euros in 2018, and today processes halal meat.
