CA Holding, founded by Antoine d'Espous, father of current managing director Arthur d'Espous, in 1992, includes subsidiaries Jean Larnaudie (bought out in 1998), Canards d'Auzan bought out by Agromousquetaires in 2017 and La Lauragaise (ex-Spanghero), based in Castelnaudary, bought out in 2014 and renamed Les Occitanes.

The group had been growing at 10% a year for five or six years prior to the Covid-19 crisis, relying on both internal growth and external acquisitions to secure supplies and control duck quality upstream.

According to Arthur d'Espous, exports account for 10% of sales.

In May 2018, group subsidiary Jean Larnaudie announced a €7 million investment to double the size of its Figeac site and hire 15 new employees.

Sales in 2019 are estimated at 47.64 million euros (estimate based on last known sales of 32.54 million euros in 2015 and 10% annual growth through 2019).
