Hertz is the world's largest company in terms of revenue in the short-term rental industry (second when considering the Avis Budget Group). With a fleet of more than one million vehicles, 93 percent of the company's revenue is generated from car and light commercial vehicle rentals, with the rest coming from equipment rentals.
Hertz has about 10,200 branches, including 429 in France. Mainly at airports and train stations, the turnover of its subsidiary Hertz France amounted to 442 million euros for the year 2018, all combined activities (tourist and utility car rental as well as equipment and public works).
