The Alliance Forêts Bois is the first forest cooperative group in France, created and administered by private forest owners. Founded in 2011, its activities report more than 55,000 hectares of silvicultural work carried out, including 17,500 hectares of reforestation. It is mainly present in the south-western regions of France, and accounts for 15% of private forest wood collection nationwide (3.1 million cubic metres).
