In addition to Baleine, Salins du Midi has 11 local brands - in the south and west, including Salinier de Camargue and Paludier de Guérande - and international brands, such as Marine Salt, a century-old company with more than 6 salt production and extraction centres, which makes the group the leading European supplier of salt to the fishing industry and one of the leading distributors of salt to the motorway and chemical industries.

The group mainly uses igneous and rock salt.

The Salins du Midi Foundation created in 2013 aims to support the environment, health and heritage.
