Cybersecurity: OverSoc steps up a gear 08/08/2023
- OverSoc was founded in January 2020 in Lille and specializes in combating cyber attacks.
- It recently raised 3.8 million euros.
- The number of employees will double by the end of the year (it currently stands at 22).
- OverSoc has created specific software to counter cyber-attacks more rapidly.
- The company is aiming for sales of 1 million euros next year.
- Cyber attacks cost businesses at least 2 billion euros by 2022.
- OverSoc is based at the EuraTechnologies incubator in Lille.
- The company won a joint call for projects from the Defense Innovation Agency and the Cyber Defense Command last November. It is part of the French Ministry of Defence's "Cyber Defense Factory" program.
