Founded in 1945, Nobilia is Europe's leading manufacturer of kitchen furniture, and also one of Europe's leading kitchen furniture distributors.
Every day, more than 3,100 kitchens are produced at the two production plants in Verl, Germany (automated production processes). This brings the total number of kitchens produced each year to 675,000, half of which are exported (42% to France).
The leading distributor on the German market, Nobilia had a 30% market share in 2016 and is positioned in the mid-range segment (average basket €7,000).
In France, Nobilia acquired the FBD group in 2015, which owns Ixina and Cuisine Plus: a total of 276 stores bringing in €620 million in 2017.
