Le Gall aims to gain a foothold in the wafer market 10/10/2023

  • Maison Le Gall, a Breton manufacturer of creamery products, has launched its first range of butter in 200-gram blister packs.
  • Maison Le Gall, which has been part of the Sill Group since 1998, currently generates only 10% of its sales (or 69 million euros by 2022) from exports.
  • In the future, Maison Le Gall aims to generate 25% of its sales abroad, of which 30 to 40% would be generated by its new range of butter blister packs.
  • Le Gall, which is facing a crisis in the organic sector (which accounts for 40% of its business), employs around fifty people at its Quimper dairy, which also produces crème fleurette (12% of business) and milk (2%).
