Lahaye Global Logistics bets on road-rail transport between Rennes and Lille 30/08/2023
- The Lahaye Global Logistics group has launched a combined rail-road service between Lille and Rennes.
- This service can transport 1,500 tonnes of goods from Brittany to the north of France, and 1,200 tonnes in the opposite direction on each run, three times a week
- Each train can take 40 to 45 trucks off the road.
- Lahaye Global Logistics is the only multimodal transport operator in Brittany.
- After starting up an initial line between Rennes and Lyon nine years ago, the group took over a line that now generates annual sales of 15 million euros.
- The group generates sales of 240 million euros and employs 1,700 people, including 900 drivers.
