Fifteen repatriates Asian bicycle production to Pas-de-Calais 24/05/2023
- Fifteen, European leader in public bike sharing, and F2J join forces to repatriate bike production from Asia to France.
- The F2J group's Agla Form plant in Auxi-le-Château, Pas-de-Calais, will now assemble bicycle parts, following an investment shared with Fifteen.
- Production is expected to reach a few thousand units in the first year, with a gradual ramp-up.
- The F2J Bike production workshop is expected to generate around 40 jobs in the long term.
- The Agla Form plant, one of the F2J group's smaller sites, employs 90 people and generates sales of 10 million euros.
- The F2J group has 1,800 employees and sales of 230 million euros.
- Fifteen manages a fast-growing fleet of 50,000 bicycles.
- Two-thirds of Fifteen's fleet is in France, but the company is present in ten countries and plans to continue expanding its operations.
