Founded in 1984, EBP originally stood for "Entreprise de bureautique professionnelle" before becoming European Business Products. EBP publishes management software for SMEs and has over 600,000 customers.
In the early 1990s, EBP was the first software publisher to offer affordable solutions to SMEs, at a time when software solutions were very expensive.
EBP relies on a network of 5,000 distributors, including 500 certified ones, to help its customers integrate EBP suites into their information management systems. EBP serves customers in France, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland.
EBP acquired the Itool system in 2006.
