Founded in 2007 in Paris, Devialet is one of the world's most recognized start-ups for innovation and excellence in audio inventions. Their first invention, ADH, revolutionized high-end amplifiers.

After 10 years in business, Devialet has registered a total of 160 patents and is growing steadily: with sales of €10 million in 2014, this tripled and then doubled, reaching €60 million in 2016, allowing us to estimate its sales at around 100 million in 2019.

Devialet initially reached out to audiophile expert communities, before offering "immersions rooms" in public places, then finally making its entry into the Opera House.

Devialet appoints new boss 29/01/2024

  • Jacques Demont has been appointed as the new head of Devialet. He was previously Sales and Marketing Director at Taïga Motors. He brings with him previous experience at Tesla, Tissot and Nespresso.
  • The company does not disclose its financial accounts, but is said to have annual sales in excess of 100 million euros, and to have been profitable since 2022.

Safran hires Devialet to create sound bubbles in aircraft. 20/06/2022

  • Devialet and Safran unveil a new system called "Euphony".
  • For Business and First Class, the system features integrated speakers on either side of the headrest, and noise reduction.
  • Safran specifies that Euphony will be deployed for the first time in 2023.
