Soleil Manga, a collection of the publisher Soleil Productions, decided to focus on the publication of shôjo. The company was created in 1989 but the Soleil Manga collection only appeared in 2003. A radical change takes place when Éditions Soleil is bought by the Guy Delcourt group in 2011. The takeover led to a redundancy plan to turn around a publishing house in decline - Soleil had produced 367 albums in 2012, only 269 in 2014 However, the collection has managed to regain some colour, with the publisher controlling 3.6% of the market share.
His major successes in 2017 included:
- The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess, which was the third biggest launch of the year with 34,000 copies sold
- Splatoon, whose first volume alone sold 15,000 copies
