Soleil Manga, a collection of the publisher Soleil Productions, has decided to focus on the publication of shôjo. The company was founded in 1989, but the Soleil Manga collection did not appear until 2003. A radical change took place when Éditions Soleil was acquired by the Guy Delcourt group in 2011. The takeover led to a redundancy plan to turn around a publishing house in decline - Soleil had produced 367 albums in 2012, only 269 in 2014the collection has nonetheless managed to recover, with the publisher controlling 3.6% of market share.

Its main successes in 2017 were as follows:

  • The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess, whose launch was the third biggest of the year, with 34,000 volumes sold
  • Splatoon, whose first volume alone sold 15,000 copies
