The Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan's mission is to maintain and manage port activity in Morbihan.
The Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan was created in 2012 by the Conseil Général du Morbihan to manage and operate 20 marinas in the department. Its creation brought together private investors and public players. The company redevelops its harbors to offer yachtsmen onshore and onshore / afloat solutions - the boat can be brought back onshore if it remains unused, with the owner's agreement. The Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan is now a SEP (Société Publique Locale), while the semi-public company Atout Ports supports local authorities and exports the Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan's know-how.
The Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan has also expanded its activities through the development of new solutions for yachtsmen:
- Morbi'embark, which enables boat owners to find volunteers willing to spend a day at sea with them
- Latitude Morbihan, which enables subscribers to be welcomed in the network's 20 ports, free of charge, on payment of a fixed annual fee.
