Originally, an Italian couple created "Aux délices de Capoue" in 1947 in Brussels. In 1991, the ice cream shop was taken over by Alain Boribon, who expanded it by opening other Capoue ice cream shops in Belgium.
The brand offers ice creams, drinks, crêpes and waffles.
Capoue ice cream parlors offer artisanal ice creams with original flavors.
In 2017, the 11 tasting rooms were renovated, the latter being located in the Brussels region and Wallonia. Some of the brands are under franchise.
