A.S. Watson Group joins forces with Al-Futtaim to enter the Middle East 09/09/2020
A.S Watson Group signs its first franchise agreement with the Al-Futtaim Group.
The agreement concerns the Watsons brand, specialized in health and beauty.
First Watsons flagship store scheduled to open on October 1 at the Dubai Mall.
Launch of an e-commerce portal (Watsons.ae), a mobile application (Watsons UAE) and a loyalty program.
Objective: to enhance the position of the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East on the map of the world's leading tourist destinations.
Expansion plan: opening of two outlets in the fourth quarter of 2020, at the Dubai Festival City Centre and Mall of the Emirates.
Entry into Saudi Arabia planned for 2021.
Plans to open 100 stores in the region by the end of 2025.
