Case study: Marie Guilbart, Head of the Information Research Department at the strategy consulting firm Kea&Partners

What is your mission?
My role is to provide consultants with the documentary resources they need to enhance their sales approach (prospecting meetings, propale construction, etc.) and to start a new assignment more quickly and efficiently.
How do you use the Businesscoot studies?
Very often, I extract 2-3 key figures or information, which I send to the consultants.
Sometimes I also give them the entire study. Recently, some associates signed an assignment in the online travel sector. I sent them the corresponding Businesscoot study. They read it right away and said, "Very interesting! Thank you!"
How important are the Businesscoot studies in your daily work?
They save me time and avoid time-consuming document compilations. When I saw that this solution existed, at such an affordable price, I didn't hesitate. With the hyperlinked source system, the Businesscoot studies also validate the fact that we have not missed any essential sources.
How do the studies help the consultants in their missions?
They allow them to learn a lot quickly! An associate can consult the Businesscoot study in 15 minutes in the cab on his way to his appointment. A consultant can easily use it to build the storyline of his project. It's very valuable.
Often, consultants ask me, "I saw there was a Businesscoot study on this market. Do we subscribe?"
What are the advantages of Businesscoot studies?
Their segmentation, by two aspects:
The "uses" angle, and not necessarily "products". I saw that there was a study on menstrual panties: it's extraordinary! We probably wouldn't have found anything in a study dedicated to lingerie.
The choice to analyze small market segments. Rather than the automobile market, you deal with the tire market, or the windshield wiper market.
This segmentation differentiates you from other market research publishers, who do not deal much with cross-sectional markets (by use), but have a catalog that breaks down NAF codes.
Apart from their segmentation, the studies are synthetic. We are not drowned in 300 pages of information.
And the very affordable price of the studies is a real asset.
