What is your job at Crédit Agricole SA?

I am in charge of the Information and Monitoring Department, which is part of the Economic Research Division We provide our internal clients within the Crédit Agricole Group with information through a portal and the implementation of customized thematic monitoring. We also provide them with customized answers to specific questions they ask us about companies, business sectors, internationally or in France (at the regional or even departmental level). It is within the framework of these questions/answers that we use Businesscoot studies.

Who are the internal clients who make these requests?

It is very variable: marketing people, sales people, bankers, operational people.. All types of profiles!

They will need precise information to update a file, prepare a client meeting, update a presentation, prepare a financing file... And often, they need it quickly!

How often do you consult studies?

Daily! We have a subscription that entitles us to consult an average of 25 studies per month. We consult between 15 and 30 studies per month, with a peak of 50 studies lately.

How do you use these studies?

Most of the time, we make a short summary that we send to our internal client, with the key figures and graphs: because our clients don't necessarily have the time to read everything. But we also sometimes send them the study in its entirety, when necessary in fullwhen it is necessary.

Very often, we consult the sources cited in the Businesscoot studies. Here again, these studies save us time by gathering the essential sources.

What is the feedback from your team and internal clients on these studies?

As far as my team is concerned, the more sources there are, the more they are delighted! These studies help them out when they are asked about niches. They are very useful for them to go fast, extract key data and sources.

As for internal clients, they appreciate the degree of precision of the studies, and to have something to eat quickly!
