Vetapp: a start-up from Caen promises to be number one in veterinary teleconsultation. 28/12/2021
- Antoine Escudier began development of VetApp, a veterinary teleconsultation platform, in Caen in 2019.
- One estimate suggests that around 75% to 90% of startups fail.
- Escudier has hired three employees since launching VetApp.
- VetApp raised €200,000 in September from business angels.
- Antoine expects to have a total of 80 vets on the VetApp platform by May-June, and 400 by the end of 2022.
- VetApp plans to raise another round of funding in the spring, in which they hope to raise €1.5 million.
- The funds raised will be used to hire 15 additional employees.
