Biotech: TreeFrog in Bordeaux receives $700 million to produce stem cells by the billion 23/04/2024
- Biotech TreeFrog Therapeutics has signed a commercial and industrial agreement with global cell therapy leader Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
- TreeFrog is selling the American laboratory a worldwide license to its stem cell production technology for type 1 diabetes, for a sum that could enable it to receive up to 730 million euros.
- the Gironde-based company will receive an initial payment of 23.5 million euros, followed by a further 202 million euros in various stages.
