Euromédis laboratories were founded in 1985. The group's main customers are the elderly, health professionals and private or public health establishments. Paramat is the Euromedis subsidiary specialised in providing home care solutions. The distribution, provision and rental of its equipment represented only 38.3% of Euromedis' turnover in 2017. Its subsidiary Paramat has 91 sales outlets in France.

Originally, its main activity was the wholesale of hypodermic products. In 1988, the Euromedis brand was created in the design of plastic surgical material (PVC gloves...). In 1991, Euromedis bought Paramat in order to develop distribution points for its material. In 2005, the company acquired Medicapp, Phymed and Caredis in the design of medical and surgical equipment. In 2012-2013, it restructured its medical equipment distribution network to reduce its losses. In 2017, Euromedis acquired Foures SAS. Euromédis has a strong position in the French homecare market.
