Plastic injection molding: EMI expands to better serve the medical sector 10/10/2023
- EMI, the thermoplastics injection specialist, has decided to invest 16 million euros to expand its production area by 10,900 m2 by the end of 2024.
- This will be in addition to the current 17,000 m2.
- EMI's sales have doubled from €32 million to €64 million, with 75% coming from exports to Switzerland and Germany.
- The company plans to devote the new space to the medical industry, which currently accounts for just 8% of business.
- EMI has 220 employees and expects to create "several dozen" new jobs thanks to this expansion.
