Corteria raises €65 million to tackle severe heart failure 07/09/2023
- Jeito Capital has 534 million euros under management and has signed its fourteenth deal in three years.
- Jeito Capital's first investment in cardiology is in Corteria Pharmaceuticals.
- The investment in Corteria Pharmaceuticals reached 65 million euros.
- The company's historical shareholders are Kurma Partners, Fountain Healthcare Partners, V-Bio Ventures, Invivo Capital and Omnes Capital, who had already injected over €15 million in seed capital with the support of Bpifrance.
- Corteria was founded in April 2021 by Philip Janiak, its former head of cardiovascular research at Sanofi, and Marie-Laure Ozoux, ex-project manager at Sanofi.
- Corteria has taken over, under exclusive license, two research programs initiated at Sanofi. Corteria currently employs around ten people
