Bastide is well established in France, with more than 130 establishments covering most of the country. The Group's areas of expertise are vast.
In 2016, home respiratory assistance accounted for 16% of sales (care, oxygen therapy, non-invasive and invasive ventilation, P.P.C. S.A.S. equipment). In addition, nutrition, stomatotherapy and wound healing represent 19% of Bastide's sales.
Homecare is the Group's core business, accounting for around 65% of sales, including patient mobility and bedding, as well as patient comfort and well-being. 51% of sales were generated by the sale of Bastide brand medical equipment, and 49% by homecare services. Most of the respiratory business was generated through service provision, with custom installation on the patient's premises.
All the Group's business segments are growing.
In 2016, there were 44 Bastide franchises in France. The Group's net debt ratio is fairly high (98% in 2016), but declining. 26.3M€ of investment has been made by the group across France to expand Bastide's market share largely through self-financing.
In 2016, Bastide acquired the Swiss group AFPM in the sale of medical equipment and took a 49% stake in Dynavie in the field of diabetes treatment. Bastide shares are listed on the CAC Mid&Small with a market capitalization of €167m in 2017.
