Wilko UK stores: over 1,300 more redundancies 06/09/2023
- 52 stores to close. 1.a further 300 redundancies have been announced, bringing the total to over 1,600.
- Before the bankruptcy, the company employed 12,500 people and had 400 stores.
- A competitor, B&M, will take over up to 51 stores for £13 million (€15.2 million).
