Abelé is a Champagne producer based in the Reims region of Champagne. The house was founded in 1757 by Téodore Vander-Veken as the third Champagne house in history and nowadays produces approximately 400,000 bottles annually. It was transferred to Reims in 1880 and now belongs to the Spanish group Freixenet.
The prestigious cuvee of the Maison Abelé, "Smile of Reims", evokes the Angel of the cathedral. His current cuvées are:
