No entanto, a distinção entre estas categorias está a desvanecer-se gradualmente à medida que muitos EPI ou vestuário técnico se vão tornando cada vez mais personalizados, incluindo a noção de imagem

O mercado francês de vestuário de trabalho está em ligeiro crescimento, com um crescimento de 4% entre 2015 e 2019. A pandemia de Covid-19 teve um impacto global positivo neste mercado, pois os meses seguintes à contenção foram quase o dobro do nível do ano anterior.
