1.1 Definição

O sector imobiliário pode ser dividido em três tipos de jogadores principais : o organismos independentes o agências afiliadas a uma rede de franquias e o agentes autorizados (desde os anos 2000).

O agente imobiliário também conhecido como agente imobiliário comercial é um pessoa física com o estatuto de auto-empreendedor e trabalhando em nome de um agente imobiliário (entidade jurídica) que lhe confere um mandato para comprar, vender, arrendar ou prestar serviços imobiliários. Esta entidade jurídica pode ser uma agência imobiliária tradicional ou uma rede de agentes imobiliários.

As redes de agentes imobiliários são, portanto, um entrelaçamento de relações contratuais entre "agentes imobiliários" independentes e uma agência "matriz" . Uma rede de agentes não pode ser comparada a um grupo de empresas, uma vez que, no caso da rede de agentes, as unidades controladas e, por conseguinte, os agentes comerciais não são empresas.
