Existen muchos indicadores para controlar la actividad del sector inmobiliario de oficinas, como el importe de la inversión anual, el alquiler medio por m², así como la demanda.

Además, es importante señalar que el la demanda de inmuebles de oficinas procede de varios agentes por un lado fondo de inversión adquirir edificios, nuevos o usados, y alquilarlos; por otro lado, corporativo alquilan o compran directamente las oficinas en función de sus necesidades y actividad.

El mercado europeo ha experimentado un fuerte crecimiento en los últimos años, 132.000 millones de euros invertidos en inmuebles de oficinas en 2019 en Europa - o un 6% más que en 2018.
