1.1 INTRODUCCIÓN

El ventanillas están diseñados para abrir edificios hacia el exterior: en su mayoría son de PVC, pero también pueden ser de aluminio o madera. La venta de ventanas se lleva a cabo principalmente durante el obra de los edificios o durante el remodelación de los edificios

El mercado de las ventanas había experimentado un fuerte crecimiento entre 2000 y 2008 pero ahora está experimentando un dificultad para respirar y esto hasta 2016: un un descenso del mercado de más del 16% entre 2008 y 2016 . En 2016, las ventas se recuperaron y el crecimiento se reanudó, con un 3% registrado durante el año, con más de 1.000 millones de euros 10 millones de unidades vendidas . El PVC constituye casi 2/3 del mercado, por delante del aluminio y la madera. El mercado está dividido entre unas pocas grandes empresas francesas que generalmente tienen una influencia europea o incluso mundial. El aluminio tiene más éxito en el Sur, la madera en el Oeste y el PVC en el Este y en la región de París.

En 2013, la decisión del gobierno de no incluir más las renovaciones de ventanas en las deducciones fiscales preocupó a los profesionales porque las consecuencias negativas se esperaban de inmediato: sin embargo, desde 2017 muchos ayudas estatales permitir la recuperación del mercado (ley ELAN, ley de transición energética, créditos fiscales, etc.). Además, cabe destacar el reto tecnológico de ofrecer ventanas innovadoras como las ventanas conectadas que facilitan la gestión de la ventilación.
