1 Marktübersicht

1.1 Definition und Umfang der Studie

Der Begriff VTC steht für "Voiture de Transport avec Chauffeur" und bezieht sich auf den " betreiber, die ihren Kunden ein oder mehrere Fahrzeuge mit Chauffeur zu im Voraus zwischen den Parteien vereinbarten Bedingungen zur Verfügung stellen " (Artikel L 3122-1 des Transportgesetzes).

Zuvor hieß der Beruf "Exploitation de voitures de tourisme avec chauffeur", aber er änderte seinen Namen nach dem Thévenoud-Gesetz im Jahr 2014. Es ist Teil des Segments "Private Public Transport of Persons" (TPPP oder T3P).

VTCs bieten ähnliche Dienstleistungen wie Taxis an und ermöglichen es den Kunden, in einem von einem Fahrer gesteuerten Auto von Punkt A nach Punkt B zu fahren Die Unterschiede zwischen den beiden Diensten liegen im Status des Fahrers, dem Preis der Fahrten, dem Komfort und den Betreuungsbedingungen für den Kunden.

Der VTC-Sektor ist in Frankreich noch sehr jung: Die ersten mobilen Anwendungen, um VTC-Fahrer mit Kunden in Kontakt zu bringen, erschienen im Dezember 2011, vor allem mit Uber France, der französischen Tochtergesellschaft des amerikanischen Unternehmens Uber. Die Ankunft dieser Plattformen in Frankreich hat den Transportmarkt völlig durcheinander gebracht, vor allem in Großstädten, wo Taxis bisher ein Monopol auf VTC hatten Der französische Markt hat in den kommenden Jahren hervorragende Wachstumsaussichten Das durchschnittliche jährliche Umsatzwachstum wird auf über 85 % geschätzt. Diese Schätzungen wurden jedoch vor der Covid-19-Krise vorgenommen, die den Sektor schwer getroffen hat

Schließlich gibt es in der Branche zwei Punkte, die zu zukünftigen Entwicklungen führen könnten: die unterschied im Status zwischen Taxis und VTCs (die man allmählich zu regulieren versucht) und die sozialschutz für Selbstständige auf kollaborativen Plattformen.
