Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Schwimmbädern, je nach ihrem Zweck (privat, öffentlich usw.) und ihrer Nutzung (Familien-, Hotel-, Freizeit-, Therapie-, Trainings-, Olympia-, Tauchbecken usw.).
