Airbus: easyJet strengthens its fleet with 56 new A320neo aircraft. 21/06/2022

  • EasyJet has placed a $6.5 billion order with Airbus for 56 A320neo and A321neo aircraft.
  • The agreement also includes the conversion of 18 A320neo aircraft into A321neo.
  • Aircraft to be delivered between 2024 and 2029
  • EasyJet points out that these aircraft consume 15 to 25% less fuel

  • AirAsia X has reached an agreement with the European manufacturer to cancel an order for over 70 aircraft, including A330neo.
  • AirAsia already has 267 Airbus aircraft in its fleet, all from the A320 and A330 families.
  • Air Journal points out that it is still waiting for 354 A321neo aircraft.
