Belgian logistics specialist Weerts establishes a foothold in Moselle 13/10/2023
- Belgian family group Weerts combines logistics, real estate and motorsport activities
- Belgian family group Weerts is to set up a site at the Europôle in Hambach, with a 57,600 m2 logistics base plus 2,300 m2 of office space.
- Weerts Group currently owns 300,000 square meters of warehouse space at seven sites in Wallonia.
- The group is planning a further facility on the Europort in Thionville, on a 29-hectare site.
- Weerts Supply Chain has acquired an 11-hectare site in Sainte-Marie-Aux-Chênes to build a 46,000 m2 building, and is planning to recruit 180 new staff.
