Paruvendu.fr is the product sold by the Hersant Media group, a French press group. Created in 1998, it is France's second-largest classifieds site, best known for real estate and vehicles: 9 million unique visitors are counted every month. 2.5 million newspapers are distributed to private homes every two weeks (compared with 200,000 in 2012).
Despite major difficulties in recent years, notably in 2012 with the liquidation of Comareg, publisher of ParuVendu, and 1,650 employees made redundant that year, ParuVendu is gradually returning to growth.
The acquisition of Topannonces in 2018, two years after the takeover of Mondebarras, enabled it to compete with the giant Leboncoin.
