Morlot accelerates growth in wood solutions 20/09/2023
- Morlot, a major player in timber construction, is stepping up the pace.
- The group intends to go public by the end of November, to raise 8 million euros.
- Morlot employs 380 people and expects sales of 100 million euros this year.
- Acquisition, over the past two years, of carpenter Weisrock and plumbing, roofing and heating company Cunin
- Acquisition, at the end of 2022, of Lille-based Création bois and Marseille-based Charpentes Morel, and partnerships with Vosges-based sawing, drying and finger-jointing professionals
- The Morlot group has also erected structures at the Yves-du-Manoir stadium in Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine), the Saint-Denis aquatic center (Seine-Saint-Denis) and the Nogent-sur-Oise dojo (Oise).
- Morlot also launched an energy sales and maintenance business, and entered the hotel and leisure sectors.
- The group has acquired the Rouge Gazon ski resort and the Lido hotel in Gérardmer, both in the Vosges, to turn them into local benchmarks in timber construction.
